Omar Qandeel

Omar Qandeel leads Abbert Capital's Japanese advisory practice, specializing in strategic project development. He bridges European and Asian corporations with markets in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Recent mandates include guiding financial institutions seeking market access and developing manufacturing and distribution projects for food and packaging industries. He previously conducted research for public and private sectors, representing Saudi Arabia at the World Meteorological Organization regarding nuclear accident protocols and conducting geophysical work with Saudi Aramco.

Omar serves as Vice-Chairman of BlueOrchard – Microfinance Investment Managers. Education: BS in Physics, UC Berkeley; MS in Geological Sciences, USC.
