Joseph Fleming combines corporate finance and geopolitical expertise as the firm's lead strategic advisor. He recently spearheaded a $7.53 billion cross-border energy transaction — the sale of Aethon Energy to Mitsubishi Corporation — one of the most significant energy deals in recent years.
Joseph has advised sovereign governments — including Pakistan, Libya, and Yemen — as well as multinational corporations on cross-border M&A, strategy, and corporate compliance across MENA, Asia, and Eastern Europe. He led the internal M&A team at a NYSE-listed healthcare company, managing the full acquisition lifecycle and contributing to the acquisition of over a dozen facilities.
Previously, he served as Executive Vice President at an international management consulting firm, overseeing strategic advisory for risk, intelligence, investigations, and compliance. Earlier in his career, Joseph worked with private equity firms and publicly listed energy companies across North America, the Middle East, and North Africa. Education: BS, University of Houston.
